2022/ 2023 Mystery Quilt Yardage & Cutting Instructions What is a mystery quilt you ask? Usually, when you start a quilt you know the pattern ahead of time so you can pick your colors and your layout as you work. With a mystery quilt the types and amount of fabrics are told to you ahead of time but not the pattern. Each month directions are revealed to the next step of your quilt. Some people use mystery quilts to use up their scraps, some people accumulate a couple of clues before working on the quilt but in any case, it is fun to see how each person interprets the pattern from basic clues without knowing what the quilt will look like ahead of time. In keeping with the Dot Bloom tradition, the quilt squares are not elaborate or difficult to create but it will have the ability to have many different layouts.
