Next Meeting August 14th
Program: Longarm/Domestic Machine Quilting presented by Terri Gelinas
How many demonstrations have you watched and thought “I can do that”, only to be discouraged when you try it? How many classes have you taken to learn how to quilt, and found yourself frustrated and stuck somewhere in the middle of a project? How much money have you spent on notions, special quilting feet, templates, rulers, threads, and more, only to find you still can’t seem to get the results you are happy with? During his program I will be pointing out the similarities and differences between longarm and domestic machine quilting so you can decide which one is best for you. I will be sharing with you my successes and failures, and how I have overcome these obstacles that seem to challenge us all.
Think about what is giving you difficulty and bring me your questions. Maybe a small quilt top or table runner has you puzzled on the best or easiest way to complete it. Bring them to this interactive program along with a sketch pad, writing utensil and eraser. Let’s try this again!
